late spring in the mountains

Where have you gone, spring?

Everything is deep, velvety green now.

Summer is creeping in. (Also, the gnats and mosquitoes.)

My poor little blog was put on the back burner for a bit while garden and yard projects and activities with family and friends captured our attention.

I dusted off the ole' Nikon, and snapped some pictures outside after supper today. (Wherein my little goose ate seconds, thirds, and then I gave up and handed her the saute pan to eat out of...)

I think she would stay outdoors all day if she could. She is a mountain girl for sure!
