We have two, big pots of mint growing on our back porch. When we brush by them, they release their lovely, minty aroma. Ace loves to pick the mint, so we drink a lot of mint tea. This is a delicious way to drink it. It's very soothing and refreshing. As mint is known for it's powers of stomach calming and breath freshening, you can't go wrong!
Steep your mint leaves in boiling water for about 20 minutes. The longer you steep, the better. Pour your tea over ice, then add a few drops of vanilla extract, and the best part of all... cream! I usually use half and half. My mints are peppermint and orange mint, but my mom has a chocolate mint that makes the most delicious tea of all! Now, just sit back and sip!
