What a wonderful blessing we were given three years ago! Our baby is three years old, and I can hardly believe it. Those years were both the fastest and slowest ever. She has grown and developed, and I have too. When she was born, a mother was born too! What a gift.
As she turns three...
she is happy and silly,
in love with books,
sweet and kind, yet ardently independent,
a championship napper,
sits still for a maximum of 3.578 seconds at a time,
loves to tuck into a good meal,
is always up for an adventure,
reminds me to take joy in the simple things,
and to stop and smell the flowers.
Happy Birthday darling girl! We love you!
