How to Make a Yearly Memory Book for Your Child

Towards the end of 2013, the year our daughter was born, I received an email coupon code for Shutterfly for a free 8x8 hardback photo book... And inspiration struck!

What if I designed a special book for her, featuring every year of her life, starting at the beginning?! How neat it would be, for all of us, to have her childhood documented in these lovely, glossy, hardback volumes!

So every calendar year she gets a new book. Showing many of her adventures, family occasions, and everyday moments that I don't want us to forget. Of course, I can't keep up with documenting it all, but I do my best.

Shutterfly usually has some sort of sale going on, right now they have 40% off all orders with the code 40OFF. Usually about twice a year they have the free photo book offer. I wait until I see that to design and order her books. All I've had to pay for each book is about $8 for shipping.

Little Goose loves to look at her special books. I remember as a child, absolutely loving to sit and look at photos! It is still one of my favorite things to do.

A personal goal of mine is to develop a system for storing, printing, and organizing all my photos. I find, like I'm sure many of you, that I never get my photos out of my digital storage and actually print them.

In the meantime, at least we have a few physical photos to enjoy in her sweet, little memory books.

*As usual, this is not a sponsored post, I just like to share things I like!
